Biographies

Dr Kathryn Wenham, PhD, MPH, BA, BOccThy

Kathryn lectures in public health at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She has published and collaborated on several academic papers and articles on topics including cross-cultural health promotion, intimate partner violence, trauma and sexual health.

Kathryn has taught on issues including the intersection of health with social justice, equity and human rights, supporting students experiencing life challenges and epidemiology. She has contributed to longitudinal studies, applied mixed-method data analysis in public health research, secured Australian Research Council grant funding and applied work-integrated learning techniques into her teaching methods. She currently runs a writing group for academics, researchers and students at her university campus.

Paul Hardwicke, BCI

Since 2006, Paul has published content for government websites, with a focus on aligning the needs of the content owner to the user. His expertise includes content editing, usability testing, accessibility, developing website information architecture, the Consistent User Experience and migration of large-scale websites.

Paul has written briefings, reports and speaking notes for former Queensland and Northern Territory government ministers and a Queensland premier.

He has evaluated and recommended funding proposals for many community development events, programs and built environment projects.

Paul loves to spend time with his greyhound, Harley, and play samba percussion.
